The History of Lime Crime Cosmetics

A fabulous new makeup online is called Lime Crime. This makeup was developed and placed on the market in 2009 by Doe Deere founder, owner and CEO. Ms. Deere, born June 15, 1981 in Izhevsk, Russia, grew up in New York City and currently lives in Los Angeles, California. She and a staff of cosmetic specialists work diligently to develop new colors and styles.

Her first makeup introduction, to the cosmetic market, was matte Unicorn Lipsticks. These Lime Crime lipsticks are available in a wide range of colors such as Flamingo, Alien, Wicket, Zenon and others. This was followed by a wide variety of beautiful eye and face makeup. Ms. Deere supervises all product production and is proud that her Lime Crime products meet Vegan standards.

An August 14, 2015 article by Stephanie Janetos, in Galore Magazine, reported on an extensive interview with Doe Deere. This article reports that she was named “…one of the Top Inspiring Female Entrepreneurs by Self-Made magazine since creating her explosive brand”.

Ms. Deere reports she was an imaginative child and loved to experiment with different colors and costumes. In 2004, she established an on-line store for selling clothing, which she constructed. When she could not find make-up that matched her clothing line, she developed the outstanding line of Lime Crime make-up.

In the beginning, she personally modeled both clothing and makeup for her online site. When asked why she called her fans Unicorns, she replied, “…unicorns are people who were born different, are aware of it and proud…in other words a true unicorn!”

Doe Deere is an excellent example of success that can be obtained by using one’s imagination. While her road to success was not easy, she had a daydream that has come true. She encourages other women to follow their dream and not be discouraged by bumps along the way.  Be sure to check them out on social media, including the Lime Crime Twitter page, and their Facebook.
